|Description=A streamlined design based of Clan Tech, the Sunder carries a heavier arsenal than many assault Mechs. An impressive torso twist range makes it maneuver like a lighter Mech in close combat.
|Strengths=Heavily armored, with decent agility, the Sunder is an outstanding long range energy threat. It can also be optimized for missile operations due to the inclusion of Omni slots, one of very few Inner Sphere Mechs with this capacity. The formidable armor makes it an excellent choice for siege / assault operations, and [[ECM]] capability can allow it to approach enemy emplacements more stealthily. Very speedy for an Assault class chassis, its torso twist range makes it a surprisingly effective dogfighter. Often configured with [[X-Pulse Laser]]s, it is a deadly and quick firing mech.<ref>[http://trm.mektek.net/index_mechs.htm MechWarrior4 - Technical Reference Manual]</ref>
|Weaknesses=The prominent center torso is a easy target, and while heavily protected, the Sunder can be vulnerable in this area. However, only missiles are carried within the center, and their loss does not significantly degrade the Sunder's offensive firepower. With few glaring weaknesses, the Sunder is a threat to be respected, though its dependence on energy based weapons can result in heat induced shutdown. For this reason, it is often seen in the "UA/NH" (Unlimited Ammo / No Heat Management) games frequented by those pilots either unwilling, or unable to manage heat levels.<ref>[http://trm.mektek.net/index_mechs.htm MechWarrior4 - Technical Reference Manual]</ref>
