|Description=This battle proven Inner Sphere BattleMech carries a mix of medium lasers, HVAC 20 and rockets. This heavy weapon load is capable of tearing apart an enemy Mech with ease, but all the weapons come with the cost of large heat generated.
|Strengths=A formidable offensive force, missile hardpoints allow the configuration of heavy missile systems, such as the [[Arrow IV Thunderbolt]] and the [[Heavy Rocket Launcher]]. This enhanced configuration gives the Stalker serious offensive capability at all ranges. The Gyro stabilization system creates a solid platform from which to launch its ranged attacks, giving it some measure of protection against the shock of counter-fire. [[ECM]] allows for relatively stealthy operations, a significant advantage given the mediocre chassis performance. The arm mounted weapons remain highly survivable due to their close aspect in relation to the chassis, and provide effective buffers to core breaches from flanking shots.<ref>[http://trm.mektek.net/index_mechs.htm MechWarrior4 - Technical Reference Manual]</ref>
|Weaknesses=The speed range of the unit is quite poor, with a base speed of 41.00 Kph and a top speed of only 71.06 Kph. This speed is only attainable with a total of 15.0 tons of engine upgrades, which severely restricts its reload capacity. While primarily a second line, long range support chassis, its weapons slots give it a wide latitude in configuration options. Units tasked with suppression of Stalker activity must remain aware of its heavy energy and ballistic capability. One of few mechs capable of carrying the [[Heavy Gauss Rifle]], its poor chassis performance does not readily provide this weapon with the mobility it requires. Head shots can be relatively easy to achieve by targeting the conveniently placed "crosshairs" on the nose of the unit. The cockpit location makes targeting the head more difficult during flanking shots however, and pilots able to target the head are also directly within the Stalker's line of fire.<ref>[http://trm.mektek.net/index_mechs.htm MechWarrior4 - Technical Reference Manual]</ref>
