|Description=The namesake of the Northwind Highlander mercenary unit, this 90-ton, jump-capable assault Mech is a force to be reckoned with.

|Strengths=Exceptionally agile for an Assault chassis, the Highlander performs more like a Heavy class mech in many ways. Its acceleration, deceleration and turn rate put it near the top of its class. It had excellent torso maneuverability, and this helps make it a good choice for close range combat. Also capable of carrying [[Jump Jets]], the Highlander can deploy to high ground, or pursue smaller units in areas where other Assault mechs are unable to follow.
