|Description=This unusually fast 80 ton assault omnimech commonly carries a mix of ballistics and energy weapons and is often used for direct assaults on enemy positions. Able to carry only average amount electronics.
|Strengths=Exceptional chassis performance defines the Gargoyle and it easily qualifies as among the most capable in its weight class. Handling is on a par with much lighter mechs, with the offensive firepower to defeat any opponent. While its [[Weapon Hardpoint|Omni]] slots allow a wide latitude in configuration options, it is primarily designed and truly excels as a close range brawler. [[ECM]] contributes to its mission capability, allowing infiltration of enemy defensive perimeters and supporting quick strike ambush tactics. |Weaknesses=Lack of [[Jump Jets]] limits its ability to deploy to inaccessible locations, or navigate treacherous terrain easily. Its top speed is midrange for its weight class, but requires 21 tons of upgrades and few pilots will dedicate valuable tonnage to non-offensive capability for most operations. Its most common configurations are ballistic heavy, making ammunition consumption a concern during long engagements. Its [[ECM]] will enhance its ability to move with stealth on the field, but make it more vulnerable to missiles. Head shots are easy with the Gargoyle, though the cockpit area is difficult to identify without experience.
