|Description=One of the fastest Mechs in common use. This 20 ton OmniMech is commonly used for scouting and is able to carry a good load of electronics as a result.
|Strengths=Perfectly suited to high speed scouting missions, the Dasher nonetheless finds itself used in a variety of operations by pilots wishing to exploit its speed. In a class by itself as far as speed is concerned, its raw velocity is complimented by an incredible [[Property:Light BattleMechs Turn Rate|turn rate]] and a comprehensive equipment suite for a [[Light|light mech]]. The [[Weapon Hardpoint|Omni]] slots give it some potential to carry moderately powerful weapons, but the resulting configuration will usually be much slower and as a result, more vulnerable. Given its fragile nature, it is usually given maximum or near maximum engine upgrades, though some configuration do strike a balance which have proven effective. |Weaknesses=There is a price to be paid for the exceptional chassis performance of the Dasher. Even fully armored, it will not absorb even minor damage without serious consequences, and firepower must be either minimal or virtually non-existent to attain top chassis performance rates and equipment support. Dashers exhibiting tremendous speed and stealth, but still able to employ an effective weapons capability will have next to nothing as far as armor protection. The prominently raised arms carry the most versatile of the weak slottage, and these are extremely vulnerable if the mechs slows down long enough to target them.
