|Description=This Mech has been a popular command Mech for the past 200 years. As a command unit it is able to mount a good mix of electronics and weapons.
|Strengths=Amongst the most stealthy of all battlemechs due to its comprehensive electronics suite, the Cyclops employs [[ECM]], [[BAP]] and the [[IFF Jammer]]. These combine to create a chassis that can approach and infiltrate enemy defenses with minimal chance of detection. The addition of the [[Advanced Gyro]] ensures a stable weapons platform and minimizes the effect of enemy fire, greatly reducing the risk of knockdown. The chassis' performance is on par with other 90 ton assault mechs, with no readily apparent strength or weakness inherent in its design. The weapons slots are well balanced and are well distributed, lending some degree of combat survivability. The right torso carries the heavy ballistic slots and the Cyclops is able to carry any available ballistic weapon. The head is well concealed near the center torso missile rack, the Electronics Pod often being mistakenly targeted in an attempt to achieve a quick kill.<ref>[http://trm.mektek.net/index_mechs.htm MechWarrior4 - Technical Reference Manual]</ref>
|Weaknesses=The heavy electronics component of the chassis helps ensure a quick missile lock, if the Cyclops can be detected while exposed. The torso sections are relatively small, and like the [[Blood Asp]], the rear torso carries only 24 points of armor. The large arms can be easily targeted, even at long range, and these carry a significant amount of the offensive firepower. Head shots are not difficult, and are made easier by using the center torso missile rack as a targeting guide. Dead center hits on the missile rack will strike the cockpit. Many pilots leave the head unarmored to save weight for weapons, in these cases, only 9 points of internal armor and 3 points of supplemental armor protect this vital area. This equates to a single shot from a [[HVAC 10|High Velocity AC10]] or [[Light Gauss Rifle]] and represents a significant risk.
