Technicians have added a [[Beagle Active Probe]] system to this variant to make better use of the [[Rail Gun]]'s massive destructive potential. However, the Rail Gun is in a vulnerable position. |Strengths=The Behemoth II serves an excellent fire support mech and when equipped with its standard config, is a proven 'hit and hide' asset. A pair of good sinpers and twin behemoth II's is murder on a battlefield especially with the added mobility jumpjets provide. Also good for a base defence role (provided there's good cover). |Weaknesses=Prone to ammo shortages the rail gun is hideously heavy, (no pun intended: 'Gross tonnage') and can easily be swapped for twin gauss rifles. Also it has an extremly long recycle time, perhaps the longest of any weapon. In taking up so much avalible tonnage, the rail gun leaves hardly any room for engine upgrades and much needed heat sinks to dissapate the heat generated by four ER Large Lasers. Most obviosly, the sheer size of the mech makes it a prime target for any mechwarrior. |Acceleration=2.0 |Best Acceleration=11.81 m/sec [[Gargoyle]] |Worst Acceleration=2 m/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Deceleration=2.5 |Best Deceleration=17.71 m/sec [[Gargoyle]] |Worst Deceleration=2.5 m/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Turn Rate=0.26 |Best Turn Rate=0.44 º/sec |Worst Turn Rate=0.26 º/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Twist Speed=30 |Best Twist Speed=70 º/sec [[Gargoyle]] |Worst Twist Speed=30 º/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Elevation=30 |Best Elevation=50º [[Annihilator]] |Worst Elevation=30º |Heat Capacity=67.3 |Best Heat Capacity=74.3 [[Annihilator]] |Worst Heat Capacity=53.7 [[Awesome]] |Torso Twist=80 |Best Torso Twist=360º [[Annihilator]] |Worst Torso Twist=80º |Damage Multiplier=0.9 |Best Damage Multiplier=1.05 |Worst Damage Multiplier=.9 |Kill Bonus=235 |Best Kill Bonus=250 |Worst Kill Bonus=235 |Max Armor=750 |Best Max Armor=750 points |Worst Max Armor=750 points |Free Tonnage=77.1 |Best Free Tonnage=78.1 tons [[Fafnir]] |Worst Free Tonnage=76.1 tons |base speed=41.0 |1st upgrade=1.0 |1st speed=46.01 |2nd upgrade=3.0 |2nd speed=51.01 |3rd upgrade=6.0 |3rd speed=56.02 |4th upgrade=10.0 |4th speed=61.02 |5th upgrade=15.0 |5th speed=66.02 |6th upgrade=21.0 |6th speed=71.03 |final upgrade=21.0 |top speed=71.03 |engine size=Large |increments=5 |Second Mech Picture Link=behemothiislots.jpg |Left Arm Slots=4 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Energy]] |Right Arm Slots=4 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Energy]] |Center Torso Slots=2 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Direct Fire]] |Special 1 Slots=7 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Ballistic]] |ECM=No |BAP=Yes |Jump Jets=Yes |LAMS=Yes |Enhanced Optics=Yes |IFF Jammer=No |Advanced Gyro=No |Related Mechs=[[Behemoth]] - A legendary avatar on the field of battle, the Behemoth was built to endure attack from an entire company of Mechs.
