The Claw is strong enough to peel armor off a BattleMech. == Tactical Analysis == *This weapon is a BA only melee weapon. *The Claw does not need ammo. *It shoots a very slow and short-ranged 'Gauss' projectile, although it is not actually a Gauss rifle. *The projectile counts as ballistic, thus reactive armor will reduce the damage received. *In a melee, it is extremely potent. Assault mechs will have a very difficult time targeting a Battle Armor at their feet, however, vice-versa applies if the BA is targetting CT. It is therefore recommended to fire the Claw at their legs instead. *When engaging the BA in melee range, Battle Mech pilots are advised to create distance before engaging.
